The IT Director of this dynamic new division will be responsible for the establishment and running of the development and support functions of the dynamic new Gaming Division of a large and successful online business. Reporting directly to the Gaming Director , he/she will join an energetic and fast-evolving team and help shape their commercial objectives through delivering a strong IT backbone to the new product development, testing and on-going operations of the business. Matching the highest standards of service reliability with the drive for fast-paced growth and innovation into new areas, the successful candidate will combine working with both established and “start-up” 3rd party software vendors to the eGaming industry. A key competency will be to maximise in-house product and marketing expertise with the internal and 3rd party IT skills to deliver a consistent experience of the highest possible standards to the end-user. With a proven track record (5 years plus) in the development and operation of “24/7, mission-critical” transactional applications (ideally in a consumer-facing environment), the successful candidate will be able to operate at both a long-term strategic level, as well as be able to “roll their sleeves up” to lead and enforce standards at the “bleeding edge” of one of the world’s most fast-changing and competitive environment.
