Chief Marketing Officer
Major Functions / Accountabilities:
* Determine, prepare and direct overall Company PR and marketing strategy and activities with Executive Team
* Analyze marketing trends and recommend marketing and business development and branding strategies based upon trend analysis and feedback
* Prepare and manage the overall marketing and business development budget
* Oversee design and production of all aspects of audio and visual marketing needs, including merchandising, press releases, print ads, publications, television and radio advertisement and web-site development
* Act as the representative member of the Company with the local and international press, business specialists and partners
* Effectively Interface with executive team
* Develop and execute an integrated marketing plan across different product sets and geographical markets
* Strategic planning, including: Company positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning
* Oversee marketing communications, including: investor communications, branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events, collateral materials, analyst and market research management and website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis
* Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, raise venture/public financing, communicate and close/grow major partnership accounts
* Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
* Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
* Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
* This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Marketing and ten years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
* Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
